About the accommodation
Amazing tiny house perched on Como Lake mountains. The structure was an old storge for cut wood (legnaia in Italian), and it was obtained by piercing the mountain. Thanks to that, it has a natural temperature conditioning, with the stone keeping it warm during the night and cooling it down in the day. The property was renovated in 2023. A lake-view terrace was built to offer unforgettable views while enjoying a meal. A Finnish sauna complement the bathroom.

The main room features a kitchen corner, a comfortable double bed, and a workspace. The bathroom, also renovated, gives access to the sauna.
The entire wall facing the lake was substituted with two large windows, that provides unique views of the lake.

Location
La Legnaia is located in Carate Urio, a small village on the side of Como Lake. Several nice services grew in the area over time, but the village still retains the magic feeling of an authentic Italian experience. The best ways to reach us are by car or ferry, passing trough Como.
